Caring for Your Every Daughter & Co. Pieces
Every piece in our collection is designed to be worn every day, in real life — and to still catch the light years from now. A little care goes a long way in keeping that shine exactly as you found it.
925 STERLING SILVER
Sterling silver is a timeless choice — soft, warm, and made to be worn close for years. Because pure silver is naturally too delicate on its own, we use the 925 standard (92.5% pure silver blended with 7.5% alloy) so every piece can hold up to daily life without losing its integrity.
- Store it right. When you're not wearing your silver, keep it tucked in a sealed, airtight box or pouch. Exposure to open air and light is the main cause of oxidation over time.
- Keep it dry. Store your pieces somewhere cool and dry, away from humidity, to help preserve their original brilliance.
- Polish gently. A soft polishing cloth is all you need to bring back the shine after everyday wear.
14K GOLD & TARNISH-RESISTANT PIECES
Our gold-plated designs are layered with care to give you that warm, radiant gold look — without the price tag or the fragility of solid gold. Because they're tarnish-resistant, they're made to be your everyday go-to, but a gentle routine will keep them glowing even longer.
- The "Last On, First Off" Rule. Your jewelry should be the very last thing you put on when getting ready, and the first thing you take off at the end of the day.
- Create a chemical barrier. Apply perfume, lotion, and hairspray before putting your jewelry on, never after.
- Avoid harsh environments. Remove your pieces before showering, swimming (pools and ocean both), and intense workouts to protect the plating and finish.
- Wipe it down. After each wear, gently wipe your jewelry with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any surface oils before storing.
FOR EVERY PIECE, EVERY DAY
- Store jewelry separately (not tangled together) in a soft pouch or lined box to prevent scratching.
- Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperature changes for extended periods.
- If a piece ever looks dull, a gentle polish with a jewelry cloth is usually all it needs — no chemical cleaners required.
- Treat your pieces the way you'd treat any good habit: a little consistency keeps them beautiful for the long run.
